Tai Chi is a proven way of coordinating mind, body and breathing to focus attention and give clarity of mind. Type: Yang. If you are new to Tai Chi, please enrol in the Introductory Workshop.
The Stretch & Strengthen class is a mix of Chinese chi-kung (qigong) exercise and yoga style postures. It uses a mind-body approach to relax the mind and develop whole body strength and flexibility by working the bands of muscles that activate body movement. The class routine includes basic warm-up, joint rotations, aerobic strengthening, stretching and meditative breathing.

With an experienced instructor and reduced class numbers, this short course will introduce you to the fundamentals of Tai Chi.
